Welcome to the Historical Radio Society of Australia
The Historical Radio Society of Australia has some 1100 members who appreciate vintage valve and transistor radios from the early 1900s to current technology. No technical knowledge or previous experience is required. If you like old radios, we can help you make an impressive collection.
Members enjoy advice, access to circuits, and components from the HRSA valve bank. The stand-out value for members is receiving the quarterly Radio Waves magazine. Each issue of radio waves contains at least 76 pages, 64 in full colour and 12 of classified adverts (insertion of adverts is free to members). In addition, there are local meetings, sales, auctions, and themed events.
Specific details, such as how to submit items to auctions, can be accessed from the drop down options available at the top of this page.
Events are subject to change and cancelation at short notice.
Members are advised to check closer to the date for any changes.
$50 – normal membership
$70 – overseas membership
Additional memberships at the same household remain at $10.
This increase applies to new memberships after 1 July 2022 and to all renewals..
