Melbourne has the following:
- Mini Auctions: held after most monthly meetings. Get the entry forms in the next menu item.
- Regular auctions: three per year.
- Class Auctions: an auction devoted to higher quality items.
There are also markets where you can bring along wares to sell.
All events are held in the Southern Community Centre 27 Rupert Drive Mulgrave.
The schedule for 2025 is:
February 15th – Saturday – regular meeting with special auction of quality items.
April 13th – Sunday – Regular auction allowing 250 lots.
June 7th – Saturday – Sellers’ market.
August 30th – Saturday – Regular auction allowing 250 lots.
September 6th – Saturday – Sellers’ market.
November – date unconfirmed – Regular auction allowing 250 lots.
You must be a member of the society to bid at the auctions.
Mini auctions at regular meetings
The limit is 5 lots per member. Any single lot can have multiple items. Download the mini auction entry form here as a pdf then print and fill in. Only print the first page if you do not need electrical safety labels.

Please complete the description of your items before attending the meeting. Pass to the auction manager who will assign lot numbers.
Regular auctions
Download the Melbourne entry form as an Excel document and e-mail to the Auction Manager.
Alternatively download the Melbourne Auction Entry Form 2025 as a pdf . This needs to be scanned and e-mailed to the auction co-ordinator – auctionadmin@hrsa.org.au Or post to the address on the form.
Print your electrical safety labels and attach them to the items that operate at mains voltage.
This is mandatory in Victoria under the Electrical Safety Act – 1998.
You will receive confirmation, and lot numbers.
On the auction day you should arrive at the venue in plenty of time to setup your items for display.
If you don’t have Microsoft Office, we suggest the free, Open Source, LibreOffice.
